Lohardaga: Sadar police station has arrested two thieves and a buyer who committed theft in Hanuman temple and Siddhidatri Durga temple of urban area and sent them to jail. The accused have been identified as Raja Oraon and Kartik Oraon. The buyer, junk shop owner Riazat Hussain has also been sent to jail by the police. The police has safely recovered the stolen items from the junk dealer. The recovered items include brass big bell, kamandal, parat, lota, tasla, lotni and other items. In this context, Sadar police station in-charge Ratnesh Mohan Thakur told the journalists that the police has caught both the thieves who committed theft in Hanuman temple and Durga temple of urban area on April 04. The junk shop owner involved in buying and selling of stolen items has also been arrested. To solve this case, a special team was formed as per the instructions of the Superintendent of Police. They were arrested with the help of CCTV footage and technical cell. Both the arrested persons have a criminal history. Both have been jailed in the past for house breaking and theft. They were released from jail just a month ago. After coming out of jail, they have again committed the crime of theft.
