Lucknow: Mohini, wife of former IAS Devendra Nath Dubey, was murdered in Indiranagar by his two drivers Akhilesh Yadav and Ravi along with their friend Ranjit. The three people had already decided that after going inside, they would murder Mohini and then commit robbery. These people did the same on Saturday. After the robbery, they searched the cupboard leisurely, then looted jewelery, cash and foreign currency worth about one crore rupees and ran away. It was only after Ranjit's face came to light in the CC footage that the police reached them and arrested all three late on Monday night. On Tuesday, police reached Akhilesh with him to recover jewelery and weapons hidden in the bushes near Kukrail drain. During this time, Akhilesh took out the weapon from the bag and fired at the police. Akhilesh was shot in the leg in police retaliatory firing. He has been admitted to the hospital. Police claimed that the value of the recovered jewelery and foreign currency was around Rs 1 crore. Ranjeet touched Mohini's feet, then Akhilesh brutally murdered her. Police Commissioner SB Shiradkar said that Akhilesh Yadav, resident of Rajeevnagar in Cantt, his brother Ravi and Ranjit, resident of PGI Nakheda, have been arrested. Two weeks ago, Ravi and Akhilesh had conspired to commit robbery. Made one in jewelery and money. Driver Ravi reached the house of former IAS officer on Saturday morning. Akhilesh got down from the jeep and moved towards the bushes. Where he took out the weapon from the hidden bag and started running away, firing at the police. Akhilesh staggered and fell after being shot by the police. On this the police caught him. Jewelery worth about one crore rupees and the DVR uprooted from the house have been recovered from the bag found in the bushes.
