Lohardaga: As per the instructions of Principal District and Sessions Judge cum Dalsa President Arvind Kumar Pandey, Lohardaga Dalsa Secretary Rajesh Kumar and Principal Magistrate Juvenile Justice Board Jaya Smita Tirkey visited the Observation Home located in Gumla. A total of 76 children are lodged in Gumla Observation Home. Which includes 41 children from Gumla, 6 from Simdega and 29 from Lohardaga. Due to the absence of a children's observation home in Lohardaga, the children of Lohardaga are confined in Gumla. The Dalsa Secretary met the children one by one and learned about their problems and the Principal Magistrate also informed about the progress of the children's case. On behalf of Lohardaga District Legal Services Authority, children were given information related to sexual crimes and de-addiction. In which the ill effects of drug addiction and the recent decision of the Supreme Court in serious crimes like POCSO were mentioned in which a child was given a video of a girl. Due to it going viral, even the Supreme Court refused to grant bail. Superintendent Avinash Kumar, Probationary Officer Kanhaiya Soni, Warden Sita Kumari were also present on the occasion.
