Dead skeleton of young man missing for 15 days found

 

Palamu: The skeleton of a youth missing for the last 17 days was found on Monday in Mahuakhala forest under Vishrampur police station area of the district. Hellfire was divided into different parts. The police have taken Narkankal into custody and sent it for investigation. Police have expressed suspicion that the youth was murdered and his body was thrown in the forest. The skeleton has been identified as Rakesh Mishra alias Monu Mishra, son of Chandrashekhar Mishra alias W Mishra of Chhipadohar village. Monu's family members have identified him by looking at his clothes, slippers and the thread tied on his hand. Rakesh Mishra was missing since the evening of 10th May. The villagers informed the police about this. According to the police, on May 10, Rakesh Mishra had purchased liquor from a shop along with Mukhlesh Yadav and Govind Yadav of the village. Later all three went to party. Rakesh Mishra had gone missing since then. Vishrampur police station in-charge Saurabh Chaubey said that the youth was found dead. Police is investigating. An FIR has been registered in the case under other sections including kidnapping and murder. Raids are being conducted to arrest the named accused.
