Lohardaga: To commemorate the successful completion of voting in Lohardaga district under Lok Sabha General Election, 2024, a felicitation ceremony was organized for officials and employees on Saturday in the meeting room of District Council Office, Lohardaga. In the programme, a total of 103 officials/personnel including officers and personnel doing better work in all cells in the district, police officers doing better work, all Block Development Officers and Circle Officers, all police station in-charges and other officers and personnel were honoured.

District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna said that the Lok Sabha general election is one of the most difficult elections in the country in which preparations have to be done at many levels. Many important activities were involved in the district, from security to arrangements in the polling stations, preparations for the voting day. Everyone worked with complete dedication in this election, the result of which was that the elections in Lohardaga district were conducted in a spotless and successful manner. Whatever problem arose, it was resolved by meeting and discussing. The officers and employees of all the cells did better work. Police and CRPF maintained better security arrangements and maintained better coordination with various security forces. Whatever plan was made was implemented well. All the Block Development Officers and Real Estate Officers did better work. Whatever arrangements were made for the security forces, they were praised everywhere. Better work was done by Pesharar, Serengdag and Jobang police station in-charges.

Everyone proved their efficiency: Haris bin Zaman

Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Zaman said that the Lok Sabha general election is an important election of the country. Whatever was planned was correct. Everyone proved their efficiency. Whatever was seized was done in the right manner and by taking prompt action in compliance with the Model Code of Conduct. People continued to participate and work in election related training regularly.

Everyone worked with dedication: Rahul Kumar

CRPF Commandant Rahul Kumar said that everyone worked with great dedication in this election. All officials should be available at all times, day or night. Be it district administrative officers or police officers, everyone worked with dedication. Voting was conducted peacefully following the guidelines of the Election Commission of India. In the security arrangements, the arrangements of CRPF, Police, Jharkhand Jaguar, Cobra Battalion etc. were very organized.

This is the first experience of Lok Sabha elections: Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat

Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat said that this Lok Sabha election was the first experience. Whatever problems came up, everyone worked together to solve them. The result of this is that the voting percentage of Lohardaga Assembly constituency in Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency was very good. This voting was completed very successfully with the help of security forces. ITDA Project Director Sushma Neelam Soreng, Additional Collector Jitendra Munda, Sub-Divisional Officer Amit Kumar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Shraddha Kerketta, Deputy Superintendent of Police and all respected officers and personnel were present on the occasion. The program was conducted by Deputy Election Officer Dheeraj Thakur.
