Lohardaga: Four icons of the district selected for increasing the voting percentage in Lohardaga district for the Lok Sabha General Election-2024 were honoured by the District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Dr Waghmare Prasad Krishna by giving them certificates. Apart from these, Executive Magistrate Abhineet Suraj, who did better work in various cells, was also honoured by the Deputy Commissioner. The icons who were honoured include cricket player Ashish Kumar, cricket player and coach Amit Kumar, wrestling player Ajita Kumari and para badminton player Sanjana Kumari (Sanjana's father received this certificate in Sanjana's absence). Senior officer of Sweep Cell-cum-District Social Welfare Officer Sita Pushpa, wrestling coach Mahadev Oraon and others were present on the occasion.
