Lohardaga: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Lohardaga District's Principal District and Sessions Judge cum Chairman District Legal Services Authority Arvind Kumar Pandey, Deputy Commissioner cum DLSA Vice President Dr. Baghmare Prasad Krishna, Superintendent of Police cum Member DLSA Hashim Bin Jama, DLSA Secretary Rajesh Kumar, Judicial Magistrate Amit Kumar Gupta, Forest Division Officer Arvind Kumar and others planted trees in Divisional Jail Lohardaga today. Judicial officers, advocates, civil court staff, DLSA's PLB participated enthusiastically in this tree plantation festival run with the cooperation of Forest Department. Various types of plants were planted in Lohardaga Jail premises, Civil Court premises, Advocate Bar Bhawan, Government residence of Principal District and Sessions Judge, and Judge Colony. PDJ Arvind Kumar Pandey himself was present in the entire program and kept giving necessary instructions regarding proper tree plantation. In the program, about 100 plants including fruit trees mango, mahogany, custard apple, litchi, jackfruit, amla, peepal were planted. The Forest Division Officer informed that after watering for some time, these trees will remain green forever. They will keep purifying the surrounding environment. DALSA Secretary Rajesh Kumar said that on the occasion of World Environment Day, DALSA had organized this tree plantation program in collaboration with the Forest Division Officer and the Jail Administration. There can be no more important message than planting trees on the occasion of Environment Day.
