Champai Soren resigns from CM post: He met the governor and submitted his resignation, Hemant Soren claimed to form the government

 

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren today met Governor CP Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan and submitted his resignation. Hemant Soren has claimed to form the government from the governor. It was decided in the India Alliance meeting held at CM residence on Wednesday that Hemant Soren will once again take over the chair of Jharkhand as the Chief Minister. The leaders and MLAs of the alliance unanimously elected Hemant Soren as the leader of the JMM Legislative Party during the meeting at the CM residence. In this way, Hemant Soren will once again take oath as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand for the third time. Hemant Soren will be the 13th CM of the state. Champai Soren has gone to Raj Bhavan and submitted his resignation from the post of Chief Minister to Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Hemant Soren will again take oath as the CM of Jharkhand. It is worth noting that after being arrested by the ED in the land scam case, Hemant Soren resigned from the post of Chief Minister on 31 January 2024. In place of Hemant, senior party leader Champai Soren took oath as CM on 2 February. Meanwhile, there was constant discussion that if Hemant Soren comes out of jail on bail, then there will be no change of power. But after the meeting of India Alliance held at CM residence on Wednesday, a decision was taken to change the leadership. In the meeting, the leaders and MLAs of India Alliance unanimously elected Hemant Soren as the leader of the JMM Legislative Party.
