Ranchi: State President of Jharkhand State CNG Auto Drivers Federation Dinesh Soni, State Vice President Ramkumar Singh, Ranchi District Auto Drivers Association President Arjun Yadav, General Secretary Sunil Kumar Singh and Ranchi District E-Rickshaw Drivers Association Patron Uttam Yadav met the Traffic SP to resolve the problems of auto drivers and e-rickshaw driver owners. Five delegations asked why auto and e-rickshaw drivers are being caught?
The Traffic SP said that auto drivers will not seat a single passenger on the front seat. They will have to seat four passengers in the middle and two passengers at the back. Autos without permit are not allowed to operate in the city. E-rickshaw drivers will drive their e-rickshaws only after taking a road pass, otherwise legal action will be taken against the owners. Auto drivers will drive their vehicles only wearing khaki uniforms and e-rickshaw drivers will drive their vehicles only wearing blue uniforms. Also, they will have to carry their identity card ID card.
Dinesh Soni has appealed to auto drivers and e-rickshaw drivers to follow the necessary guidelines.
