The role of PLVs is to provide legal information and assistance to the public: Vishal Srivastava
On this occasion, AJC-7 Mr. Vishal Srivastava, AJC-4, Mohd. Asif Iqbal, Jhalasa Deputy Secretary, Mr. Abhishek Kumar, DALSA Secretary Kamlesh Behera, LADCS Chief Praveen Kumar Srivastava, LADCS Deputy Kavita Khati, LADCS Advocate, Rajesh Kumar Sinha and newly selected PLVs were present. It is worth noting that in the first session on the last day of the training, Mr. Abhishek Kumar, Deputy Secretary, Jhalsa and Mr. Kamlesh Behera, Secretary, DALSA jointly trained all the PLVs on NALSA schemes and regulations, government orders and schemes promoting social welfare, including MNREGA, social security schemes (pension, Antyodaya, insurance etc.), obtaining various certificates (such as caste, disability, birth, income etc.), obtaining ration card, Aadhaar card, National Population Register, voter ID card etc., obtaining passport etc. and answered the questions of the PLVs.
In the second session of the training, AJC-7 Mr. Vishal Srivastava, AJC-4, Mohd. Asif Iqbal jointly met the PLVs and Mr. Vishal Srivastava said that going to remote areas and providing help to the villagers, needy, disabled people and giving them information about the law is the important work of the PLVs. He told about the rights of the people under the Indian Constitution and said that the PLVs have to make people aware and get them their rights. All PLVs were asked to do their work with honesty. Along with this, AJC-4, Mohd. Asif Iqbal said that all the PLVs who have been trained in the five-day training program should take it with you and make the villagers aware. You are volunteers, do your work with full honesty according to your will.I t should also be known that at the end of the closing ceremony, those PLVs among the newly selected PLVs who have already worked, shared their experiences. Masoom Raja told about the work done in Ratu block. He said that he helped the poor in getting job ration cards, job cards and old age pension and widow pension. Reshma threw light on saving children and helping them by trafficking. Rakesh Mishra told people about providing the benefits of government schemes to the needy. He said that toilets have been built in the houses of 30-35 people through a community. In the end, Sushma Toppon told in detail about the work done in Railway Child Line, Ranchi. He said that he talked about protecting and helping children.
