Ranchi: A grand foundation stone laying program was inaugurated online by Shantanu Thakur, Union Minister of State, (Ports, Shipping and Waterways), Government of India, at Pichhri (South) Panchayat, Petarwar Block, Bokaro District. More than 500 villagers participated enthusiastically on the occasion along with Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Personnel), S. S. Lal, M.P. (SD & CSR), Ranjay Sinha, General Manager, Dhori Area and other dignitaries.
During the ceremony, 150 solar lanterns and jute bags were distributed among tribal students under CSR of CCL. Along with this, the people present took the oath of "Swachhata Hi Seva". This mass oath taking ceremony was led by the dignitaries present. In this program, Rs. The foundation stone was laid for development works to improve infrastructure under Pichhri (South) Panchayat at a cost of Rs 3.63 crore. These projects are aimed at empowering the community, improving public facilities and promoting sustainability. The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for this initiative of CCL. It is known that CCL is committed to the development of the local community under the guidance of its Chairman cum Managing Director Nilendu Kumar Singh and is constantly doing better work in rural areas.
On the occasion, Bermo MLA representative Uttam Singh, Mukhiya of Pichhri (South) Smt. Pramila Devi, District Council member Mr. Ashok Murmu, social worker Devidas, union representatives Jawahar Yadav, Kailash Thakur, Bhim Mahato and various department heads and project officers of Dhori area were present.
