Warning to vendors sitting in no vending zone : Municipal Commissioner

Municipal Commissioner inspected the vegetable market located at Naga Baba Khatal and Bhagwan Birsa Munda Bus Terminal located at Khadgada

Ranchi: Municipal Commissioner inspected the vegetable market located at Naga Baba Khatal. During the inspection, he instructed all the fruit and vegetable vendors to set up their shops at their allotted places and maintain cleanliness around them. He told the officials of the corporation that 'No Vending Zone' has already been declared from the vegetable market to Mahavir Chowk and around the market, so it should be ensured that no shops, carts, etc. are set up in the said area. Along with warning the vendors sitting in the no vending zone, he also instructed to take action to confiscate their goods. For this, the enforcement team was instructed to run continuous drives.

              The Municipal Commissioner said that if shops have been allotted to fruit or vegetable vendors and the said vendors still set up their shops on the footpath, then in such a situation, identify that shopkeeper and cancel his allotment. During the inspection of the vegetable market, the need for repair was seen at many places, on which the city engineering branch was instructed to take immediate action and get it repaired. Apart from this, the supervisor was instructed to ensure regular cleaning of the market.

             After this, he inspected the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Bus Terminal located at Khadgada along with the concerned team, in which he inspected cleanliness, clean drinking water, toilets, street lights, parking fees, toll tax collection at the stand etc. On the spot, he instructed to immediately remove the advertisements illegally put up by the bus agencies at the said place without permission. In this sequence, he directed the team of the cleanliness branch to clean the bus stand regularly and spray bleaching powder.

         Additional Administrator Mr. Saurabh Prasad, Assistant Administrator Nikesh Kumar, City Manager, City Campaign Manager, Corporation Engineer and other workers were present on the spot.
