An important meeting was called at Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Main Road on 19th October, Saturday at 3:30 pm to change the date of Nagar Kirtan to be taken out on the occasion of 555th Prakash Parv of the first Guru of Sikhism, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. Representatives of Gurudwara Shri Guru Nanak Satsang Sabha Krishna Nagar Colony, Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Piska Mod, Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Station Road, Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Hatia, Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Kadru, Sikh Seva Society, Sikh Sevak Jatha, Guru Nanak School PP Compound, Guru Govind Singh Public School Kamde and Ranchi Motor Dealers Association participated in it. In the meeting chaired by the General Secretary of Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, Gagandeep Singh Sethi, all the representatives present unanimously voted to change the date of Nagar Kirtan from 13th November to 14th November, respecting the Election Commission and having faith in democracy. It was passed unanimously.
Gagandeep Singh Sethi said that the Sikh community, having faith in democracy and respecting the Election Commission, has itself changed the date and fulfilled the duty of humanity so that the Election Commission does not face any problem in changing the date and now the Nagar Kirtan to be taken out on the occasion of the Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj will be taken out on 14th November instead of 13th November, which will start from Krishna Nagar Colony at 2:30 pm and will reach the Guru Nanak School campus located in PP Compound at 9:00 pm and will be immersed. Present in the meeting were Sardar Gurmeet Singh, Dwarka Das Munjal, Arjun Dev Midha, Kripal Singh, Paramjit Singh Tinku, Navjot Singh Rubal, Trilochan Singh, Surjit Singh, Suresh Midha, Manish Midha, Gagandeep Singh, Dhyan Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Hargovind Singh, Harish Midha, Harpreet Singh, Inder Midha, Paramjit Bhasin, Surinder Pal Singh Pali, Harjeet Singh Hora, Harjeet Singh, Swinky, Basant Kathpal, Ramesh Papneja, Ranbir Singh, Gurinder Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Harbinder Singh, Amandeep Singh, Hardeep Singh, Rulda Singh, Prabhdeep Singh, Colonel Vijay Singh, Kultar Singh and Manpreet Singh.
